This song is about the simple pleasures in life.  Pleasures like eating an orange while sitting at a very low table called a Kotatsu.  The lyrics make me laugh and I like the music.

This isn't an MP3 and I debated where I should put this post.  I thought about under Humor / Cute stuff for my wife because she wanted me to capture and save this video, but its not cute or funny.

Jero is a young 1/4 Japanese 3/4 African American kid from Pittsburgh who is the hottest thing in the Japanese Old Person Folk Genre of Enka. The Grandmas dig him.  He does his thing in Hip Hop style as opposed to the traditional dress most Enka singers wear performing.

His mom in particular had a hard life.  She lived with her grandparents in Japan for 12 or 13 years and then moved to the US - there was a lot of turmoil in the household.  (I knew it was a favorite video of my wife's when she cried - she only cries when she really likes the show.)

This is about an hour long.  Japanese is the main language, but there is a lot of English too.  Particularly when the film crew comes to the US to meet Jero's family.
