Monty: Rock Stars Don't Eat Cookies

Track 1: America Rocks – I like the guitar a lot. The drummer has some trouble in this track and it sounds to me like he hesitates and isn't sure where to come in / on some fills. The vocals while not great don't grate on my nerves. The lyrics are a bit cheesy with the obligatory rhyme at the end of most verses.
Track 2: Butterflies in Heaven – sounds a lot like America Rocks except the vocals are worse. He yells a note in the phrase take flight that just sounds terrible.
Track 3: Richard Shouldn't Play with Dead Things – This is an interesting song. I like it better than the first two tracks. Again the drummer bugs me. The “dead” vocals in the middle of the song are annoying.
Track 4: Spirit – I like this song. Monty can make some noise on his guitar and his voice sounds cool on this track. What's the difference between this track and the others? The drummer is taking a break.
Track 5: UFO – This is a funny song. I like it. It reminds me of a 1950s alien movie. They sound like they are having a blast on this track. I guess Monty was abducted by a UFO and he wanted to be let go.
Good points: The guitar player can play pretty well. The vocals sound good on some of the tracks and they have a sense of humor.
Bad points: A lot of the songs sound the same. At times the vocals are annoying and the drummer bugs me. I wonder if they can get a new drummer?
